Container Houses

Ananda  – is the first of our independent container cottage rooms. Ananda, true to its name, is an ode to the bliss of living in nature. Spacious and thoughtfully designed, it features a majestic four-poster bed and an earthy, muted palette that radiates calm. A luxurious bathroom, bay windows overlooking a cashew grove, and a rocking chair balcony complete this serene retreat. There is also a small back-yard patio for the morning cuppa tucked behind the main entrance.

Ananda was designed with my belief that much of what we are looking for, was always there was within us. Our roots, our joy, our bliss that bring us back to our core, our home is nature

Junoon—the second of our container homes—evokes the romance and passion of a bygone era, where delicate flowers, drifting paisleys, and timeless charm reigned. Dressed in soft pastel blues with whispers of pink, the space is infused with royal elegance. Intricately carved Rajasthani furniture with fine brass inlay adds a layer of cultural richness and storytelling.

Every detail is carefully curated to maintain the theme—fittings and fixtures that float effortlessly within the space, contributing to a mood that is nuanced, soft, and dreamy. The room feels almost ethereal, as if suspended in a moment of tender reverie.

A beautifully appointed bathroom with a tub completes this love story. Large bay windows bathe the room in natural light, opening onto a terrace balcony and a private patio—making Junoon a serene sanctuary for the romantic at heart.

Devachen—named after the Sikkimese term for “God’s paradise painting”— This container home is an immersive sanctuary of spiritual elegance and quiet grandeur. Cloaked in rich shades of black, green and gold, the room is adorned with framed Thangkas and images of Celestial Tara, creating a sacred and meditative atmosphere. At its center lies a low king-sized bed, inviting rest and introspection. In contrast, the European-style bathroom adds a layer of theatrical charm to this otherwise serene retreat. Expansive bay windows open onto forest views, while a private sit-out and patio at the back offer moments of solitude with nature.

Inspired by its metaphysical namesake, Devachen draws from Theosophy and Tibetan Buddhism. In Theosophy, Devachan represents a temporary, dream-like realm of bliss between lifetimes—a space for the soul’s growth and reflection, shaped by one’s virtues and aspirations. In Tibetan Buddhism, Dewachen is the Pure Land of Amitabha, a realm of luminous tranquility where one continues the Dharma path toward full enlightenment.

Just like its philosophical roots, the Devachen room offers not permanence, but a fleeting, sacred pause—a place to reflect, rejuvenate, and reconnect with inner peace before continuing the journey.
