Dear Guest,
It is our absolute pleasure to welcome you to Vanaswara. Nestled in the heart of the forest and beside the
serene Kundalika River, this retreat has been lovingly built as a sanctuary for those seeking peace, nature,
and stillness.
As you settle in, we'd like to share a few important notes to ensure you have a comfortable and enriching
stay:
Important Information for Your Stay- Electricity & Power Backup: During the monsoons, electricity can be intermittent. We have a generator to
power essential amenities including fans, lights, and air conditioners. However, geysers may not function
when the generator is in use, depending on the load.- Nature & Wildlife: Being in the forest, you may encounter insects and other small creatures-it's their home
too. Please keep your room doors closed at all times and avoid stepping out late at night.- Mobile Connectivity: Jio is the most reliable network at Vanaswara. Other providers may have patchy
service.- Wi-Fi Access: High-speed Wi-Fi is available in all rooms and common areas. However, connectivity may be
affected during heavy rainfall. Wi-Fi passwords will be shared separately.- Check-In & Check-Out: Check-In: 2:00 PM | Check-Out: 11:00 AM- Dining - Asha: All meals are served in our dining area.- Breakfast (Complimentary): 9:00 - 10:30 AM- Lunch: 1:00 - 2:30 PM (Rs. 600/person)- Dinner: 8:00 - 9:00 PM (Rs. 900/person)
The chef will be happy to accommodate your preferences as best as possible.- Housekeeping: Linen and towels are changed every third day. For any additional cleaning, please inform
our manager.- Rain Gear: Umbrellas are provided outside each room. Raincoats are available on request.

lounge areas.- Leisure: Board games and a carrom board are available on request.- Mosquitoes: There may be mosquitoes around twilight. Other times are generally free of them.- Nearby Facilities:- Petrol Pump: 10 mins away- Grocery Store: 10 mins away- Pharmacy: 20 mins away- Doctor (Kolad City): 20 mins away- Emergency & Safety: First aid kit available on request. Fire extinguisher installed in each room.
Activities at Vanaswara- Kayaking: Double kayaks are available at Rs. 500 for 2 hours. Life jackets are mandatory and provided.- Swimming: Take a dip in the Kundalika River-an unforgettable experience!- Forest Walks: You're welcome to explore on your own. Guided walks can be arranged at Rs. 500.- Picnic Experience: A curated picnic with a packed meal can be arranged at Rs. 500/person. Advance notice
required.- River Rafting (Kolad): The only rafting destination in Maharashtra. Rafting is run by an external service
provider. We can help coordinate or share contact details for direct booking.- Raigad Fort Trek: Just 30 minutes away-an ideal monsoon trek with stunning views.
Pet Policy- We have a few friendly, rescued Indie dogs who live with us. When guests are present, they are usually
kept in an enclosed space. If you have any concerns, please feel free to let us know.
